Access and utilities
The client must provide safe access, working water and electricity where required, parking or loading information, and building permissions.
Valuables and sensitive items
Cash, jewellery, documents, medicines, electronics and fragile personal items should be secured before work begins. Pre-existing damage should be disclosed.

Unsafe or specialist work
Hazardous waste, biohazards, asbestos, structural repairs, unapproved work at height and regulated treatments are excluded unless separately assessed and lawfully arranged.
Completion review
The client or authorised representative should inspect the agreed scope at handover and promptly record any reasonable corrective points.
